Marielle Yocoli Kouassi, Research Scientist (CP Kelco), USA
Marielle Kouassi is a Research Scientist at CP Kelco working in the Applications Development group on food and beverage applications. She has been a recognized leader in both agricultural and food science sectors and continues to do so, as a Leadership Team member for the Institute of Food Technologists Dairy Division. She recently finished her M.S. in Food Science at the University of Wisconsin- Madison and worked on a project focusing on the extraction of dairy phospholipids from a whey ingredient, analyzing its composition, functionality and function in applications in comparison to soy and sunflower based phospholipids. She received her B.S. in Food Science and minor in Environmental Studies and Sustainability at Michigan State University.
